Whether you want to admit it or not Billy Ray Cyrus left a lasting impression on all of us with his "hit" song, Achy Breaky Heart. Whether you want to admit it to yourself or not there is no doubt you have caught yourself singing it in the shower or line dancing to it in a cowboy bar at some point in your life. Well it seems that that song was not the biggest impression that Billy would leave on us at all. His personally groomed prodigy has become renowned and stunningly famous all over the world. That prodigy is in fact his very own daughter, Miley Cyrus. Billy has been training and grooming Miley since day one to become a star, yet even he could not have predicted how popular she would be come.


Miley Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992 by the name of Destiny Hope Cyrus. It was clear that Billy Ray had big expectations of his daughter as they both decided to change her name to Miley Ray in hopes that people would relate her more to her famous father. Well, it appears to have worked. Miley now has record breaking movies and albums along with a golden globe winning television show. Not only that but the product line she has helped create with her TV character Hannah Montana is by far one of the most successful campaigns of all time. While Miley Ray has been known to dabble in a bit of everything she is most known for her role in the TV show, Hannah Montana. In a perfect little coincidence, Billy Ray Cyrus actually plays the role of her father on the show as well. Miley has become extremely successful and Billy Ray has been there each step of the way. His prodigy has become a staple within the mainstream media and is well on her way to becoming one of the youngest billionaires in the world. If that isn't successful grooming of a prodigy then what is?


While the Hannah Montana show has become incredibly popular, Miley is starting to become famous on her own, apart from her character. Of course she still stars in the show, acts in Hannah Montana movies and sings on Hannah Montana albums, but she is no longer solely recognized as that character. She is now releasing a new album entitled Breakout which is the first album where she sings as herself and not as Hannah Montana, her alter ego. Miley has become one of the most versatile stars out there without a doubt. Whether it is thanks to her dad or not is a question we can't be sure of. What we can be sure of is that the lasting impression she leaves on the world will be a lot stronger and a lot more widespread. While her father may have been deemed a one hit wonder, that is a title that Miley is in no danger of ever receiving.
